The King Fresh Thanksgiving Celebration was held on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at noon.  The gathering was held on the shipping dock at River Island Fresh Cold Storage and the tables were beautifully decorated to celebrate nature’s bounty and giving of thanks.   All employees of King Fresh Produce, River Island Cold Storage, Jody Fresh Cooling and Wilson Farms were invited, in addition to the offices of Keystone Freight, Prime Harvest, and Sierra Sun.  The Thanksgiving meal is a company-wide optional pot-luck event with the major entrees, such as ham and turkey, provided by King Fresh.  There were baked, fried, and deep pit turkeys—2 of each—to satisfy everyone’s preferences.  Attendees were encouraged to try all three varieties and take some home to share with their families, as well…since we had so much excess!  Owner, Keith Wilson said grace and carved all the turkeys for the celebration!
