Plums

Plum Wonderful

Sweet, fleshy, and juicy – this is the plum, a beautiful and delicious fruit, which can create magic on your morning breakfast table as well as an afternoon treat. A plum is always ready to deliver its heavenly taste. A plum is rich in carbohydrates and Vitamin A and C, calcium, potassium, and iron. It contains high amounts of fiber that promotes regularity. Like many other fruits, plums are also low in calories and contain no sodium, saturated fat or cholesterol. When buying plums, select fruits that are, firm, fleshy and bright-colored but not too ripe. Avoid plums that are too soft as they may be spoiled. You can keep plums at room temperature to ripen. Once ripened, keep them in the refrigerator for a few days.
